Honey Chili Glaze Ingredients:

  • ¼ Cup of Soy Sauce
  • ⅓ Cup of Honey
  • 5 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 2 Tbsp Crushed Red Chili Flakes 

Preparation:

1. Preheat Monument Grills -24367 gas grill to 350°F.

2. Remove the neck and organs from inside the cavity of the chicken.

3. Pat the chicken dry using a paper towel.

4. Fold the wings behind the shoulder joint. 

5. Cut a small slit in the extra skin near the leg. Insert one leg into the slit. Fold the other leg behind this one to secure it.

6. Season the entire chicken with Monument Grills Texas Chicken Rub.

7. Skewer the chicken onto the rotisserie spit.

8. Insert the rotisserie spit in the rotisserie motor and turn it on.

9. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the glaze by mixing soy sauce, honey, garlic, and chili flakes.

10. At the 1-hour mark, use a basting brush to apply the glaze all over the chicken. Repeat every 30 minutes

11. Continue cooking an additional 30 minutes - 1 hour until IT reaches 165°F.

12. Remove from the grill and rest for 10 min.
