"This is a very nice grill but could be improved. I really like the window to see whats going on inside the hood. I was disappointed that the grill cabinet floor and inner door panels were not a stainless material. Also disappointed the drip tray panel holder slots are not wide enough or the drip tray panel could be longer. I say this due to the panel already falling out of place when moving grill across my deck. The lighted dials are ok and the light button could have been installed on the control panel front and not on the side. I like the larger wheels compared to my old grill but the office chair style wheels seems cheap. The overall stainless material used on this grill is thinner than my old grill. Panels seem a touch flimsy to me. The flame timers are a loose fit and could have been longer. Some of the assembly screws are hard to get at for the sear station and the side burner. The grill cover is made of a very nice water proof material. I do like the grill overall and these are just my thoughts."

"Absolutely love this grill. This is my second one and not because I had to replace the first one. I just brought it to a second home and replaced it with the same identical grill. Easy to assemble and use. Tons of cooking room and the upper grate is awesome for keeping cooked food warm. The sear box is great also!!!! Definitely a great grill."

"I work for a package handling/delivery company. I am also mechanicly inclined. And at age 66, I found this grill a breeze to put together. I was a little shocked it came in 2 boxes, but I must say Package was packed amazingly well. The hardware package was small (shocked!). Perfectly labeled/seperated, and directions were absolutely clear, and whoever designed the assembly process? AWESOME JOB! I CANT WAIT for the rain to stop so I can break her in!"

Grill is Great - Customer Service Not so much

"I have used the grill once so far. It is very well built, materials seem to be high quality and I am happy with the performance of the product so far. Assembly is easy and 1 person can do it alone (At least I could). Unfortunately, there was an issue with one screw in step #2. It was frozen in place. I called customer service and was told the entire base needed to be replaced and they would ship it out right away. Well, that did not happen. I must have emailed, complained, called, about 6 times over the next few days. I got very frustrated and as given a completely different story every single time. 3 times I requested a supervisor from Customer Service call me - It never happened. I am not done and will continue contacting then until I get to speak with a supervisor. What I experienced was 100% unacceptable. Bottom Line? Product Grade - A Customer Service Garde - FFF"

"So far the grill works great. It heats up fast and actually cooks unlike my old grill. The only con so far is assembly Some of the parts are very sharp. And the screws holding the sear burner to the firebox are very had to get to becase of the burner. But other than that, is a dream."

"For years I've been buying the Nexgrill models from HomeDepot and I'll never go back. The Monument has higher quality parts and a much better design. I leave this grill covered but out in the weather and I like that tray easily slides out the back so that I can keep it clean. The wheels, burners, ignitors, temperature meter, knobs and lid with glass are all better than the Nexgrill. The assembly instructions are even well designed and easy to follow."

"This is a little premature for a comprehensive review since we haven't actually used it. We purchased it for a Nightly Rental Home we have. The Quality appears to be very good and assembly was straight forward. The model nailed a couple of the design features we desired. . . the searing station and the entire collection tray slides out from under the burners for cleaning. If it cooks as good as the experience so far this is a hit!"

1.After using the sear burner (transfer steak to grill), turning off and closing its lid, does the lid surface become hot? Is there any issue with that? 2. If fat drips into the sear burner while searing: (i) can it be cleaned if needed, (ii) does it affect performance? What precautions to follow, if any related to this. Thanks
