Mario, one of the dedicated members of the Alpha Company, shared his thoughts on the event: “Our soldiers do enjoy the cooking. We have other events as well, but most of them involve food and eating as it is one of our main sources of morale.” Cooking play a crucial role in lifting spirits and building camaraderie among the soldiers. It’s a tradition that unites them, offering moments of comfort and normalcy amidst their demanding duties. Cooking means a lot to us as well. For us, providing high-quality grills goes beyond mere service; it's about creating experiences that bring and spread the joy of BBQ to families, friends, and neighbors.

About Military
Alpha Company Tomahawks are a part of the 3rd Battalion – 4th Aviation Regiment Assault Helicopter Battalion (3-4 AHB). They are part of the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade (4CAB) as part of the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) located at Fort Carson Colorado. They are comprised of 10 UH-60M Blackhawk Assault Helicopters and 50 Soldiers, including maintainers, crew chiefs, and pilots. Their mission set is to provide Air support for ground forces, including infiltration, exfiltration, air assault operations, and maneuvers. The Battalion is comprised of 3 flight companies such as our own (A, B, C Co.), one maintenance support company (D Co.), one ground support company (E Co.), and our Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) which is all our staff including command and administrative support.
