Labor Day Backyard Burger

1.Preheat your grill to 500°F.
2.Season the burger patties with Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub.
3.Place directly on the grill grates.
4.Cook for approximately 8 minutes, until char develops.
5.Flip the burgers and top the patties with two slices each of colby jack cheese.
6.Continue cooking until the desired internal temp is reached and the cheese has melted.
7.If desired, toast your buns directly on the grill grates until desired doneness.
8.Remove from the grill and assemble the burger on a bun, with pickles, BBQ sauce, and fried onions.
