The shelf is designed to hold plates of food to be cooked, spices, sauces, beverages, etc. It should not be used to hold excessive weight. The Denali grill shelves can hold up to 45lbs and the rest of the grill shelves can hold up to 20lbs.

"The Bad - I ordered directly from Monument because I wanted the Mesa 200B (blue) grill which was not available on Amazon. After about 8 days with no communication from Monument, I contacted them and was told the blue is no longer sold. Would have been nice for them to tell me that sooner. So I switched my order to a stainless steel 200S and it arrived 3 days later. The Good - very well packed, easy to assemble with just a screwdriver. Nice looking grill, starts easily and appears to cook well. I like the glass window but I suspect it might need frequent cleaning to stay clear. In the end - happy with my purchase."
