Preparation

  1. Remove the grill grate and insert the Round Cast Iron Cooking Plate.
  2. Preheat your Monument Grills to 400Ā° F.
  3. Place bacon onto the cooking plate and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Remove and allow to cool.
  4. Meanwhile, toss the shrimp, maple syrup, and soy sauce in a medium bowl.
  5. Cut the cooled bacon strips in half.
  6. Wrap each half strip of bacon around the shrimp. Use a skewer to hold the bacon in place.
  7. Season to taste with Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub.
  8. Place the skewers directly on the grill grates. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp turns pink.
  9. Flip and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  10. Remove from the grill, allow to cool, and serve.
