🥓🍤 Treat your NYE guests with a savory and sweet combo with these Maple Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Skewers!
Ingredients
- 1 Pound of Colossal Shrimp
- 1 Pound of Bacon
- 4 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub
Preparation
- Remove the grill grate and insert the Round Cast Iron Cooking Plate.
- Preheat your Monument Grills to 400° F.
- Place bacon onto the cooking plate and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Remove and allow to cool.
- Meanwhile, toss the shrimp, maple syrup, and soy sauce in a medium bowl.
- Cut the cooled bacon strips in half.
- Wrap each half strip of bacon around the shrimp. Use a skewer to hold the bacon in place.
- Season to taste with Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub.
- Place the skewers directly on the grill grates. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp turns pink.
- Flip and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from the grill, allow to cool, and serve.
