"What i like is that it is a heavy duty cover. Heavy weight fabric that feels like it will last as long as the grill. The grill on the other hand…. Well, I bought this unit from Lowes (online) they assembled and shipped it to me for free. The bad news is they didn’t put any protective cover on it and gave it to the delivery truck. Apparently the driver and his helper didn’t feel the need to use blankets or straps because when they took it off the truck the front of unit was crushed ( and they actually took it off to see if i was going to refuse delivery) so a new one was reordered and assembled and delivered, this time it was shrink wrapped and in good condition, ( after i spent about 40 minutes on the phone explaining that common sense would dictate to properly protect anything being delivered. So, after all this, i went to use it, i tried starting with electric spark igniter and nothing, I checked the battery they gave me with my meter and showed 1. 5v and was in the correct polarity. I also checked the wiring to see if anything was not connected or cut etc, as much as I could see anyway. So I put another battery just because, nothing. So I called monument grill customer service and I need to send proof of purchase, serial number and a video showing that it doesn’t work, even though they know i just bought it??? So they will send a new button apparently, that I will need to install, hopefully it works . I did light the grill manually which if using a lighter the ones with the long tube to light candles etc. you will need to remove the grates so you can get the flame to the burners, they do have a chain that has a metal ring that holds a match that will fit between the grates. Overall the grill did a good job searing etc when I got it working. Just make sure you are there for delivery if you have it sent to you assembled!!!! Really that stands true for anything being delivered, appliances and delivery companies just don’t really give your items much attention these days. Different world than what i was brought up in รฐยยย"
