"Great grill gets hot fast! So far works and looks way better than those other name brand grills. The modern look, hooks on both shelves, and heavy duty doors are a great addition to the backyard."

"So far so good, used it 4 times at this point. The burner shields get glowing red, first I've seen that. The black exterior is a little rough to keep clean, but that's to be expected. Wish the side burner had a little more space, as it does cause splatter onto the side of the grill lid."

"when I bought the Eminence 425 grill, I wasn't sure if I would like the matte black finish. After assembling it, I love the color. I also picked up the cover and it seems to be a nice heavy cover. Hopefully that will last a couple of years. Speaking of assembly, there are a few quirks I found in the instructions that were a bit hard to understand, but I figured it out. I cooked some ribeyes tonight and it cooked great. It heats up very fast and the heat was even. I got some nice sear marks on the steaks. the only problem I have had so far is the ignition system. it seems to be sporadic, it does not light every time you hold the button and you don't hear the clicking sound. After many tries it would eventually light. I'm going to call customer service to get some insight into this. Otherwise the grill seems fantastic. I would give 5 stars but I'm knocking it down a notch because of the ignition problem."

"I've had all the expensive big-name charcoal, ceramic, gas and pellet grills over the years. I saw Monument in Lowe's a few years ago, researched the company and purchased the basic 4-burner plus side and sear. I cook every night but for severe weather and usually wear out grills in a year or two or get tired and want something new. Now four years into my first Monument grill it performs like day 1. On their website I saw and wanted the newer Monument Eminence 425. I had doubts about shipping this large of product, customer service assured me they had my back and not to worry. In four days, I had two boxes at the door, not a ding or scratch on the boxes. The fit and finish of the grill is incredible, hands down no regrets and I'm looking forward to higher retained heat in winter. The back is enclosed, a bonus if you live in the country and have strong winds, or critters that move around at night. There's a lot of choices out there, most have become way overpriced. Monument delivers an innovative, durable, budget priced yet over performing and rich featured product line, I'd buy again in a heartbeat. They don't know me from Adam, this is a 100% unsolicited review they earned. Growth brings challenges but this company deserves a higher market share using stronger marketing strategies."

- Sorry, we don't have griddle.If you'd like to use griddle, please look into the size to fit your grill.
- Is the sear burner an option on the Eminence 425? I see it comes standard with the 405 but would like the 425 with sear burner.
- The E405 is infrared sear side burner, and the E425 is ordinary side burner. But their main burners are cavity infrared burners.
- What is the width of thr cooking space?
