Chorizo Stuffed Bread Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 Pound Chorizo Sausage
- 1 Loaf of French Bread
- 8 oz Oaxaca Cheese
- ⅛ Cup Diced Onion
- Chopped Cilantro
- Monument Grills Texas Hot Pepper Sauce
Preparation
- Preheat your Mesa 305 to 500°F.
- Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise. Scoop out the inside of the bread.
- Stuff each half of the bread with chorizo.
- Place the bread loaf directly on the grill grates, meat side down.
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes, until IT reaches 165°F.
- Flip the bread loaf halves over and move to the warming rack.
- Top with shredded Oaxaca cheese.
- Close the lid and continue cooking until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the grill and top with cilantro, onions, and hot sauce.
- Slice and serve immediately.
