When replacing the burner make sure that the gas tank valve is closed and that the inside of the furnace is completely cooled. You can operate as follows:
1. press and hold the burner circlip and push it outward;
2. Remove the burner;
3. after replacing the burner with a new one, install the circlip.

Before turning on the gas to "ON," check the supply hose. If there are cuts, abrasions, or signs of wear, it must be replaced before use. If there is a gas smell, do not use the grill.
1. Fully open the side burner lid.
2. Push and turn the side burner knob to the max position. Simultaneously, press and hold the electronic ignition button for 3-5 seconds to ignite the burner.
3. If the side burner does not light after 5 seconds, turn the knob to OFF. Close the LP gas cylinder and wait 5 minutes for the gas to clear. Then open the lid and repeat step 2.
4. If the burner still does not ignite, refer to the section on lighting with matches.

"This shipped very quickly and assembly went even quicker. I was overwhelmed by the size of the boxes, thinking this would take all day, but all of the intricate parts were pre-assembled so in total it only took an hour for a handy person to assemble. It took about as long to break down the boxes and packing material as it did to build it. However once it was assembled I noticed some damage in the stove top shelf that occurred during shipping, perhaps more packing material/supports are needed. Functionality is great, takes a while to heat up because it's so huge. I was reluctant to have all the fancy electronics on this, but it actually is a nice touch that I've used more than I imagined. Overall, this is a great upgrade for our backyard parties, even though on a normal basis I will only use two burners."

"I like the size of the grill and cooking space. I have only used it once so far but the meat came out nice. The only issue I had was with the instructions to connect the cooking control panel. I was a little confused at first as instructions dealt with connecting two wires but actually there were three wires to connect. At first I had an extra wire hanging from the control panel and it wasn’t until I had to really look under the grilling area to find the third connector. Instructions on this should indicate connecting three wires."

Excellent grill-especially as a natural gas conversion
"So far, I love this grill. Ive only had it about 2 weeks but cooking on it is a joy. I converted it to natural gas, which was relatively easy. The temperature gauge and thermometers work well and it does a nice job searing meats. I like the window which makes it easy to monitor the cooking, especially flare ups, without opening the grill. The second day I had it, it blew over in a strong windstorm because I hadn't locked the wheels down. No dents or scratches even blowing off the patio and over into the yard. Tip. . . lock the wheels. Lol. Great grill!"

"We originally paid for assembly. The assemblers got frustrated and said they didn’t know how to do the electrical stuff then left. I phoned Monument customer service. They helped me (80 year old woman) to connect the side burner and change it to NG. We finally got the temp/probe area to work. But we cannot get the knob light to come on. I phoned Monument customer service today but they said too high number of calls so would return call as soon as possible."
