Breakfast Patty Melt
The BEST patty melt you'll ever tasted and it's going to be a regular in your house.

Ingredients

½ Pound Breakfast Sausage

2 Eggs

4 Slices of Italian Pane Toscano Bread

4 Slices of American Cheese
Preparation

Remove one of the grill grates and insert the Cast Iron Cooking Plate accessory.

Preheat Monument Grills 77552 grill to 400° F.

Divide your breakfast sausage into two ¼ pound patties.

Place the sausage patties directly on the grill grates and season with Monument Grills Texas Pork Rub. Cook for approximately 3 minutes.

Flip the sausage patties and top each patty with a slice of cheese. Cook for an additional 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, oil the Cast Iron Cooking Plate and place the slices of bread on it.

After a few minutes, flip the bread and toast the other side until desired darkness. Remove from the grill.

Crack each egg onto the Cast Iron Cooking Plate and season with Monument Grills Texas Pork Rub.

Flip the eggs and top each egg with a slice of cheese.

Return two slices of bread to the Cast Iron Cooking Plate. Add one egg, and one sausage patty to each bread slice. Top with the remaining bread.

Remove from the grill, slice in half, and enjoy.
