Christmas French Toast Sticks
French Toast Ingredients

½ Loaf of Italian Bread

4 Eggs

½ Cup of Milk
Icing Drizzle Ingredients

½ Cup of Powdered Sugar

1 Tbsp Melted Butter
-
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

1 Tbsp Milk
-
Red Food Dye

Green Food Dye
Preparation

Remove one of the grill grates and insert the Cast Iron Cooking Plate.

Preheat Monument Grills 35633 to 400° F.

Prepare the icing drizzle, by mixing the powdered sugar, melted butter, maple syrup, and milk in a small bowl.

Divide the icing in half and add red food dye to one bowl, and green food dye to the other. Set aside.

Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices and then into 1-inch wide sticks.

Mix the eggs and milk together in a rectangular container.

Dredge each of the breadsticks into the egg mixture and place directly on the Cast Iron Cooking Plate.

Grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned.

Drizzle the red and green icing on top of the French toast sticks.
