🍉GRILLED WATERMELON SLICES🍉

🍉GRILLED WATERMELON SLICES🍉

Ingredients:

🍉1 watermelon

🍋1 Fresh lime

Instructions:

1.Start by selecting a ripe watermelon. Look for a watermelon that feels heavy for its size and has a deep, hollow sound when tapped.

2.Wash the watermelon thoroughly under cold running water. Pat it dry with a clean kitchen towel.

3.Using a sharp knife, cut off the ends of the watermelon to create a stable base. Then, cut the watermelon into large circles, each about 1 inch thick.

4.Place the watermelon circles on a cutting board and cut each circle into 4 slices, creating wedges of grilled watermelon.

5.Preheat your Monument Grills sear station to medium-high heat. Make sure the grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.

6.Once the sear station is hot, carefully place the watermelon slices directly onto the grill grates. Allow them to cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until lightly charred grill marks appear.

7.While the watermelon is grilling, prepare the lime. Cut a fresh lime into wedges.

8.Using tongs, carefully remove the grilled watermelon slices from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.

9.Squeeze fresh lime juice over the grilled watermelon slices. The tangy lime juice adds a refreshing twist to the sweetness of the watermelon.

10.Serve the grilled watermelon slices immediately while they are still warm. You can enjoy them as a light and refreshing snack, or as a unique addition to salads or desserts.

11.Feel free to experiment with additional flavors if desired. You can sprinkle a pinch of sea salt or drizzle honey over the grilled watermelon slices for added complexity.

12.Remember to clean your grill after use and enjoy the delicious grilled watermelon slices!

13.Enjoy the smoky, charred flavors of the grilled watermelon slices combined with the zesty tang of fresh lime. It's a delightful and unique twist on a summer favorite.
