Tailgating Steak and Vegetable Kabobs For Game Day
It's football season! Have you thought about what food to prepare for tailgating? If not, you might want to try making these easy and delicious kabobs. Totally perfect for holding in one hand while watching the game!
Ingredients:
- 3 lb beef
- 1 large yellow squash
- 1 large green, red, and yellow bell pepper
- 1 tbsp Monument Grills Rub
- 8 mushrooms
- 1 large red onion
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
Preparations:
- Sliced all of the vegetables into uniformly sized pieces and assemble the kabobs alternating mushrooms, onion, squash, and bell peppers on the skewers.
- Heat the grill to medium heat, then place the kabobs on it, leaving a small space between the skewers.
- Add the olive oil, salt, Monument Grills Rub and pepper and toss to coat them.
- Cook both sides for 5 minutes. Brush them so much. See how the skewers progress, and adjust time accordingly.
- Cook steak kebabs on the grill, flipping them halfway through cooking time so they cook evenly. Cook steak to the desired doneness.
- When steak and vegetable kebabs are cooked through, remove them from the grill. Allow steak to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
