Hashbrown Breakfast Sandwich

If you always have a package of hash brown patties in your freezer, you definitely need to try this. These pre-cooked patties fry up nicely with just a little bit of oil, and when paired with a fried egg, they make one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches.

Ingredients

●1 Pound Breakfast Sausage
●8 Hashbrown Patties
●4 Eggs
●4 Slices of Yellow American Cheese
●4 Slices of White American Cheese
●Monument Grills Texas Hot Pepper Sauce to Taste
●Monument Grills Texas Pork Rub to Taste

Preparation

1. Remove the round grill grate and insert the Round Griddle accessory.

2. Preheat your grill to 400° F.

3. Place the hashbrown patties on the griddle plate.

4. Form the breakfast sausage into four patties shaped to fit on the hashbrowns.

5. Place the sausage patties directly on the grill grates and season with Monument Grills Texas Pork Rub and cook for approximately 7 minutes. Flip and top with one slice of yellow American cheese and one slice of white American cheese. Cook for an additional 7 minutes until IT reaches 165° F.

6. Flip the hashbrown patty and cook until the desired crispiness is reached.

7. On the griddle plate, crack the eggs and cook until the desired doneness.

8. Compile the sandwich with a hashbrown patty, then sausage topped with cheese, followed by the egg, a drizzle of Monument Grills Texas Hot Pepper Sauce, and finally another hashbrown patty.
