🍗Grilled Lemon Garlic Chicken🍗

Here's a delicious and easy-to-make grilled chicken recipe that's sure to be a hit at your next barbecue.

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

1.Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2.In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

3.Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is coated well. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

4.Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.

5.Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature.

Tips:

1.If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can check if the chicken is cooked by cutting into the thickest part of the breast. The juices should run clear and there should be no pink in the center.

2.If you want to add some extra flavor to your chicken, try adding some chopped fresh herbs to the marinade. Parsley, rosemary, and thyme all work well.

3.You can also grill some vegetables to serve alongside the chicken. Bell peppers, zucchini, and eggplant all grill well and make a tasty side dish

4.To make sure the chicken cooks evenly, pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before marinating and grilling.
