Compound Butter Ingredients

  • ½ Cup of Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 5 Cloves of Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tbs Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tbs of Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub

Preparation

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped garlic, chopped parsley, and Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub. Mix with a fork until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Wrap the compound butter in plastic wrap forming a log, and set aside in the freezer for one hour.
  3. Preheat the sear station on high.
  4. Season both sides of the blade chops with Monument Grills Texas Beef Rub.
  5. Place the chops directly on the sear station grates and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Flip the chops and sear the other side for 3 minutes. 
  7. Continue flipping until the desired doneness is achieved (145°F is recommended)
  8. Remove from the sear station, top with slices of compound butter, and allow to rest.
